This site is about a small village called Bicton. It could be in any county in the UK but this village is near Shrewsbury, Shropshire.
There was nothing remarkable about Bicton, but now that so many villages have been lost forever, this is what makes it so special! Villages are part of our heritage, help us to make a stand before it is too late.
Plans have once again been drawn up to convert the field in the background picture into a housing estate of up to 300 homes. The developers claim that this proposal will 'respond to the character of the area, surrounding built environment and landscape setting'. What are your thoughts on this?
